As of now, Müller + Ziegler device data relating to around 500 devices can be accessed via the EPLAN data portal.

The EPLAN data portal is a web service integrated in the EPLAN platform, via which the device data of well-known component manufacturers is made available online.

The stored macros can be used to easily integrate the device data into the circuit diagrams and can be transferred into the documentation using "drag & drop".
EPLAN also automatically generates parts list from the diagrams, including item numbers.
The simple transfer of device information into the project data reduces the engineering effort and improves the quality of the system documentation.
