Bimetallic measuring instruments combined with moving-iron ammeters are used to monitor the load ratios of electrical power supply equipment. The thermal inertia inherent in the bimetallic measuring element generates a display which corresponds to the effective mean of the current. A built-in drag indicator is used for maximum-value display. The drag indicator can be reset with a reset button (sealable). The moving-iron measuring element displays the instantaneous r.m.s. value of the current.
