Shunt resistors are used to extend the measuring ranges of moving-coil measuring instruments and to supply a current-dependent voltage drop, e.g. for electronic post-processing.
Shunt resistors are manufactured to DIN 43703 and DIN EN 60051. The accuracy is 0.5% of the rated value. An increased accuracy of 0.2% or 0.1% can be achieved with the special version.
Shunt resistors up to 25 A are mounted on isolating bases. Up to 25A, the potential screws are thread M5. The connector copper and resistor material (manganin) are hard-soldered with silver solder.
The shunt resistors are calibrated without a feeder.
Shunt resistors can be supplied with voltage drops of 60 mV, 100 mV, 150 mV (other values on request) and with currents between 25 A and 20,000 A.
Products can also be dimensioned in accordance with customer drawings.
