Comparators monitor one or two limit values which can be set throughout the entire scale range. Direct current and direct voltage can be measured using moving-coil measuring elements. As they consume very little power, they are suitable for connection to shunt resistors, speed sensors, thermocouples, transducers, etc. Rectifiers can be integrated for applications with alternating current and alternating voltage. Power, power factor, temperature, etc. can be monitored in conjunction with transducers. Comparators can also be supplied with digital display.
